A few years ago, in my city of Granada, in Andalusia, I had the pleasure of welcoming two eminently sympathetic young women: one is a guitarist and the other a painter. In addition to having something in common between them, because they are two sisters, they are the daughters of my friend Sylvain, publisher of the magnificent OZ editions of Quebec. The weather, "primavera" as is often the case in Granada in the spring, was most favorable to us, as is often the case in this spring time. This invited us to discover the city on foot, crisscrossing the narrow streets showing us the monuments of the Arab occupation and those of the reconquest by the Catholic kings. The change of rhythms (triple eighth notes) will be executed rigorously, because it recalls flamenco as well as the Sacromonte district, where at nightfall, the gypsies of this district offer us their show of flamenco dance, song and guitar.
