Petr Eben’s (1929 - 2007) reading of one of the most famous Czech poems by the romantic poet Karel Hanek Mácha “Temná noci, jasná noci” (Dark night, serene night) expressing woeful envy of Mácha’s life. The work, writtenin 1986, is set for a cappella choir and is published here for the first time.
