Louis Vierne is regarded as one of the greatest late romantic composers of organ music. His work comprises an essential contribution to the genre of the French organ symphony. With Symphonies No. 3 and No. 5 Carus has launched a recording of the complete organ works of Vierne on the new Kern organ in the Dresden Frauenkirche.
