Note that the piece calls for Tenor solo as much as Soprano.Twentieth century musician Arthur Oldham was a composer, mainly, of Choral works and works for the ballet and stage. He was also a celebrated and award-winning choirmaster who founded the Edinburgh Festival Chorus, the choir of the Orchestre de Paris and the Chorus of the Concertgebouw Orchestra and won Grammy awards with the London Symphony Chorus.
