It was first performed at the Cheltenham Festival on 16th July 2004, at the Pitville Pump Room, Cheltenham, by Patricia Rozario and the Schubert Ensemble. United States premiere at the Ravinia Festival on 29th July 2004, by Patricia Rozario and the Corigliano String Quartet.
Written for soprano, Tibetan temple bowls, string quartet and piano.
