Zita is the second movement of Suite Troileana, an inspiring work that Piazzolla wrote in 1975, in response to the death of the bandeonist, tango musician and composer An bal Troilo - who had been his mentor at the beginning of his career. Suite Troileana is playful in character, but it also has a moving and melancholic side. Both moods can be found in Zita, the movement that has been arranged by Marc Belder, especially for accordion orchestra.
