Written by J. S. Bach and arranged by Maurice Duruflé for Organ, “Chorale: Jesus bleibet meine Freude“ (Jésus, que ma joie demeure) is the tenth movement extract of the “Rejoice yourself, my soul”, the cantata BWV 147 . Part of the expanded version composed for the feast of Visitation, it was added to the main Cantata in 1923.
