“Vi lever” (En Chantant) was recorded and released on a single by the French artist Michel Sardou in 1978. Four years later, in 1982 Wenche Myhre recorded a Norwegian version with text by Jan Eggum dedicated to King Olav's 25th anniversary as the king of Norway. It became a big hit and the audience still “demand” that it is included in the program at her concerts. Many major artists around the world have made recordings of En Chantant and it’s regared as one of the greatest classics of all time.
