The collection of music transcribed for bassoon and piano was published in 1984 and edited by bassoonist and music teacher László Hara, a former student of Ern Dohnányi and Leó Weiner. As the founding member of the first professional Hungarian chamber wind ensemble, Hara has compiled a collection which offers music teachers and their students a selection of European works - including Hungarian ones - that range from the Baroque era to the late Romantic period. Our publication, which contains a variety of performance pieces for bassoon, is recommended for the upper grades of music schools.
