The DUS460 is a premium soprano ukulele made from Amara wood, a species of evergreen tree native to the rainforests of South America, which gives Ukuleles a unique warm yet clear tone. Each Amara ukulele is different, since the grain never repeats itself, you never know which pattern you are going to get!
The neck and fingerboard are made from African okoume and rosewood. It's a great combination that guarantees a stable intonation across the fretboard, is gentle to your hands, and looks great as well. The nut and saddle of the DUS460 are made from bone (not from plastic!), only one of the many details that make this Ukulele so special. Headstock design is an integral part of our identity.
