The madrigal was a musical art form which originated in Italy but which migrated to England where English composers enthusiastically took up the genre. Adew, Sweet Amarillis is a superb example of the madrigal and the vocal lines are ideally suited to brass instruments. Parts included in this set are trumpet 1/2, horn in F, horn in Eb, trombone (BC), Bb trombone, Tuba (BC) and Eb bass (TC / BC).
