Today the works of the Lithuanian composer, Vytautas Miskinis, have an established place among the repertoire of many choirs. It is the exciting combination of atmospheric tone painting and, in part, abrupt rhythms which make his music so fascinating. Here the young chamber choir consonare, conducted by its musical director, Almut Stümke, have recorded the most important choral works of this composer.
