Organized in 2008, Brass Of The Potomac is a traditional “British-style” brass band with personnel of over 30 professional and free lance musicians from around the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Its talent includes members of the premier bands from the Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force. In addition to performances at the Gettysburg Brass Band Festival and Mid Atlantic Brass Band Festival, the band has competed live in the championship section of NABBA competitions on multiple occasions.
