J.S. Bach?s great Chaconne in D minor from Partita No.2 BWV 1004, stands apart from other partitas and sonatas for solo violin, in its sustained richness of invention and sheer magnificence. It has been delightfully and faithfully transcribed here for Piano Solo by Feruccio B. Busoni.
