The hit song ‘Levitating’ by the English singer Dua Lipa was written in Jamaica during a session for her second studio album: Future Nostalgia. It is a stirring dance tune featuring characteristics from various genres, such as power pop and electro disco. It was received with much acclaim, and compared with music by the likes of Debbie Harry, Katy Perry, Kate Nash and Kylie Minogue. Arranger Seb Skelly also fell for this catchy track. He arranged it for brass quintet with an optional drum part, which will undoubtedly induce some dance vibes!
