The 16th century was a golden age for the recorder ensemble and a wealth of compositional gems were written. This collection of four-part instrumental music originates from Het Leuvens dansboek (The Leuven Book of Dances) by Phalesius. This suite is intended for recorder quartet (SATB), but it will also work well in a version for recorder choir.
