Annelies was conceived by James Whitbourn as a concert-length choral work, with the libretto based on the diary of Anne Franke, a Jewish girl who lived at the time of the holocaust. This version is arranged for Soprano soloist, SATB chorus, Clarinet in B flat, Violin, Violoncello and Piano.
