The German violin teacher Franz Wohlfahrt (1833-1884) composed several well-known series of études, including some for violin duet. Many beginners use his 60 Studies for violin, opus 45, as study material. In this edition they have been divided in two groups of thirty. The first group features only first position. In the second part, Wohlfahrt includes third position, and later, second position. This new edition comes with a demo CD featuring a full performance of each study to show you how they should really sound!
