Vintage VSA500B ReIssued Cherry Red is an elegant semi-acoustic electric guitar that combines classic archtop character with modern playability and premium hardware. Semi-acoustic construction with rich resonance
The maple body and maple top deliver balanced warmth, clarity and sustain. The semi-hollow design captures the open resonance of traditional archtop guitars while reducing feedback at higher volumes.
The result is a guitar with expressive dynamics and versatile tonal response suitable for clean jazz tones as well as overdriven rock sounds.
Wilkinson vintage-voiced humbuckers
The pair of Wilkinson WOCHB humbuckers produce thick, warm and articulate tones with excellent sustain and clarity. This pickup configuration is particularly well suited for blues, jazz, classic rock and indie styles.
Bigsby vibrato and premium hardware
The licensed Bigsby® B70 vibrato provides smooth vintage-style vibrato effects with excellent stability and sustain. Wilkinson Tune-O-Matic bridge, Grover® tulip tuners and the GraphTech nut ensure reliable tuning and precise intonation.
Comfortable neck and enhanced upper fret access
Vintage’s offset double-cutaway body and specially designed offset heel improve upper fret access and overall comfort. The one-piece mahogany neck with soft C profile feels smooth and fast in the hand.
