A historic suspension bridge provides the occasion for Paul Mealor’s Y Gadwyn yn y Graig. The work was written for the bicentenary of Thomas Telford’s bridge at Conwy.

Grahame Davies supplied the words for this choral setting, lasting around three and a half minutes. Commissioned by Chris Roberts and the Conwy Classical Music Festival, it connects choral repertoire with a particular place and its history.
