Soft-born measureless light
Resonance, reverberation and luminous sonorities shape Soft-born measureless light. Jeremy Thurlow found inspiration in Walt Whitman’s elegy for Abraham Lincoln, allowing its image of light to guide the music.
Conceived as a reflective breathing space between two turbulent sonatas, the piece seeks repose through depth and changing shades of sound rather than a simple repeated lullaby.
